Community Seniors Co-operative Ltd. (CSCL) is a non-profit, co-operative, charitable organization dedicated to expanding the availability of seniors care in Western PEI.

We envision a future where individuals in the O'Leary area have appropriate and supportive living options that are open to all and enable aging in place.

To operate a co-operative Community Care home that provides residents with compassionate care and enriched social opportunities in a modern, healthy, and community-engaged environment.

Board of Directors

 

Sally Lockhart, President

Retired federal consultant in Health Promotion/injury prevention.  Background in community development and experience developing and delivering seniors fall prevention training and creating accessible workplaces.

 

Ronnie MacWilliams, Vice-President

Farmer for over 50 years, Board member of the PEI Federation of Agriculture, Board member of provincial Soils and Crops Association and many other groups.

 

Mike Adams, CPA, CA, Treasurer

Chief Financial Officer Mill River Resort. Mike worked as a Chartered Professional Accountant with Grant Thornton. 

 

John Martin, Secretary

Current board member of the Community Care Facilities and Nursing Homes Board of PEI. Retired administrator of long-term care facility and worked in adult protection.

 

June Easter, Director

June is a dedicated volunteer in the O'Leary area. She is passionate about seniors housing and care and acts as a resource person to the Board.

Bruce Smallman

Has worked in the field of home repair, maintenance, and renovations for much of his career. Was the chair of the West Point Development Corporation during major renovation and expansion to the existing lighthouse, hotel, community center, and restaurant.

 

Rick Cameron

Retired from a career in management with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Rick is the current President of West Prince Caring Cupboard, volunteers operating the Bloomfield Depot, and is a member of the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Response Team.

 

Fran Lewis

Retired from a 40-year career as a Registered Nurse.  Was a staff nurse in small community hospitals including home care.  More recently conducted long term care admissions assessing the needs of seniors.  Has a keen interest in improving the standards for local seniors as they seek a home in the future.

Bill Smith

Retired from CIBC after a 35 year career covering human resources, marketing, credit and senior leadership.  Throughout his career he has been active in volunteering and currently is vice president of O'Leary Community Hospital Foundation and a member of the O'Leary Area Emergency Preparedness Committee.

Judy MacIsaac

Judy is retired from an extensive career in the local health system. She is currently a member of the O'Leary Town Council and engages with many attributes of the Town's community development.
